Focus on the surveying department
Today's edition of the Oxford Mail highlights two members of the Maylarch Environmental Surveying department. The focus of the article is put on the apprenticeship scheme that Maylarch has set up in partnership with local colleges.
This scheme which combines on-site training with an NVQ level 2 course in business administration allows a more 'hands-on' approach while still providing a recognised qualification. The article quotes our two apprentices, Sean Reynolds and Dexter Lancaster, who explain why they have chosen this route to kick-start their career.
