Construction re(cycling) event

On May 14th, 20 cyclist enthusiasts from the Construction Industry had responded to a call from Maylarch Managing Director, Nick Williamson to take part in a cycle networking ride across Oxfordshire’s beautiful countryside. With a choice of two routes (20 and 30 miles), both starting and arriving at The Perch Inn, Oxford, and both taking around 2 hours to complete.

Both rides went well and everyone made it back to The Perch for a well deserved lunch and refreshments which gave everybody the opportunity to look back on their ride and exchange tips and impressions.

This was also the occasion for Nick Williamson to talk about the increasing popularity of cycling in the UK and how improving cycling infrastructure will help with the challenges that cyclists still face every day, especially within the construction industry.

“We are very pleased with how the day went. The feedback we received was fantastic and we are thinking of holding a similar event soon. We would like to thank all the participants, as well as the fantastic team at The Perch Inn, for making it such an enjoyable event.” Nick Williamson.
