Apprenticeship Opportunities

Maylarch Environmental Ltd is a friendly company committed to staff development and individual career development and as such supports the training and development of all its staff which starts with our apprenticeship opportunities for both Demolition Plant Operatives and Asbestos Removal Operatives.

The ideal candidates ideally need a combination of the following skills and qualities, or the potential to work towards them:-

Problem solving ability
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work in a methodical and calm manner
Presentable
Accurate and pays attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work to Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
Experience of looking after, organising and operating plant/tools/equipment
Good customer service skills

The successful candidate would need to be over 18 (insurance reason) and hold a full driving licence or have the ability to get to agreed daily pick up points

Positions to be based out of the Oxford (OX29) office working on local and regional projects

Asbestos Removal Operatives and/or Supervisors

Maylarch Environmental Ltd is always keen to hear from experienced and qualified Asbestos Removal Operatives and/or Supervisors. You will need the following skills, qualities and training:

- Experience of working on construction sites and/or demolition sites

- In date Asbestos Removal Operative/Supervisor certificate

- In date Face fit and medical certificates

- Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a methodical and calm manner

- Accurate and pays attention to detail

- Presentable

- CSCS/CPCS/CCDO card

- Ideally hold a full driving licence

Demolition Site Supervisors, Demolition Operatives and Machine Drivers

From our central location near Oxford and our branch location in the South West, Maylarch covers a large part of the south of England offering asbestos surveying, asbestos removal and demolition services. We are looking for experienced Demolition Site Supervisors, Demolition Operatives and Machine Drivers

Demolition Site Supervisor
This role will involve assisting with the logistics of varied projects and the organisation, supervision and working alongside of other operatives.
The ideal candidate will need the following skills and qualities:

  • Good customer service skills
  • Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a methodical and calm manner
  • Experience of looking after, organising and operating plant/tools/equipment
  • Accurate and pays attention to detail.
  • Abiltiy to work to Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Problem solving
  • Presentable
  • CCDO card essential
  • Asbestos Awareness or Non licensed removal training desirable.
  • £ per hour dependent upon experience - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Demolition Operatives

  • Site experience is necessary - CSCS or CCDO or CPCS card essential
  • Asbestos Awareness or Non licensed removal training desirable.
  • £ per hour dependent upon experience - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Machine Drivers
The ideal candidate will need the following skills and qualities :

  • Problem solving abiltiy
  • Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in an methodical and calm manner
  • Presentable
  • Accurate and pays attention to detail.
  • Abiltiy to work to Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Experience of looking after, organising and operating plant/tools/equipment
  • Relevant CPCS/CCDO card
  • £ Dependent upon experience - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

The successful candidates for all roles will need to be over 18 (insurance reason) and hold a full driving licence or have the ability to get to agreed pick up points.
