In line with its commitment to reduce its impact on our environment and particularly its carbon footprint, Maylarch has gone through an improvement programme on its office lighting system.
‘As the company is expanding, we needed to re-arrange the space available to cope with the recent additional members of staff. This was the perfect opportunity to look at how we could generate savings both in terms of cost and CO2 emissions at the same time!’

New energy efficient light fittings have been installed coupled with an automatic switching system which means that light will only stay on if needed.
Using the calculation methods from the Energy Saving Trust, it emerged that Maylarch will reduce its running cost and CO2 emissions by over 1700% per year making the initial investment worthwhile within just 3 years.
