Local student get work experience at Maylarch
Last month, 15 year old student, Andrew Bond, from Bartholomew School in Eynsham, joined us for a week on a work experience programme.
Throughout the week, Andrew spent time with various members of staff across all the departments of the company; Demolition, Asbestos Removal and Surveying.
He has also gained an understanding of all the departments that support the business including finance, procurement, HR and training.
As part of our commitment to developing the business Maylarch has put a large investment in apprentices and young employees and their ongoing training.
It is the company’s intention to recruit more apprentices and our links with the local community should help us to keep in touch from an early stage with potential future apprentices and employees.
