Lib Fest 2015 in Witney
‘Lib-Fest’ is a free family event, which will take place in Witney on Saturday 27th June. The event is aimed solely at celebrating the life and loves of Liberty Baker, who was tragically killed in 2014 when she was hit by a car whilst walking to school.
‘Lib-Fest’ starts at 10.00am with a 5K fun run around the town. Following the race, there will be a Family Fun Day on the Leys from 11.00am. This will include live music (click here for the full line up), The Witchwood School of Rock, a silent disco, stalls, food/refreshments, bouncy castles and much much more!
Maylarch is helping out with the organisation of the event through the provision of hoarding to secure the site and a skip to help with the cleaning afterwards. Witney resident and Maylarch employee, Greg Walker has volunteered his time to deliver and collect the above and will be present on the day along with several other staff members from Maylarch.
All money raised from ‘Lib-Fest’ will enable this event to happen, as well as raising money for the charities chosen by Liberty’s family. These are Seesaw, Brake & Road Peace.
